Thank you to everyone that purchased tickets and attended the Harley for Hope fundraiser event! The event was a great success, with guests enjoying delicious appetizers, live music, and an entertaining “Boob Game Show” with comedian, Allison Lane. One highlight of the evening was the reading of a heartfelt letter to ‘Cancer,’ written and recited by breast cancer survivor and Hope Calendar model, Jamie (a.k.a Miss May). All funds raised through the Harley for Hope event will be used to support women of central Alberta that are undergoing breast cancer treatment. Support will be provided in the form of gift certificates for gas, groceries, childcare and housecleaning. This will allow women and families to focus on treatment and recovery, and worry less about the financial implications of a cancer diagnosis.
A special thank you to Gasoline Alley Harley Davidson for generously donating the Custom Painted 2011 Harley Davidson Sportster Nightster. Without this true demonstration of philanthropy, the Harley for Hope event would not have been possible.
