Tuesday, November 15 is National Philanthropy Day; a special time set aside to thank and recognize the efforts of generous donors who have shared their time or money to improve our lives, our communities, and our world. Philanthropy is a powerful act because it is voluntary. You choose where you want to give and how you want to give. You decide how you want to express your love for humanity.

In honour of National Philanthropy Day, we encourage you to explore how the many generous donors have made a difference in your health care centre. Discover the impact made in your department, and celebrate the advancements we have made together to improve health care.

If you have more questions, your local Health Trust or Foundation can help you to learn more about how philanthropy has made a difference in your program and how to generate support or make a gift where you work.

Thank you to all the philanthropic hearts and hands in Alberta Health Services, we are grateful for the support you provide.
