Cuts 4 Cancer Coming!

(This article was posted on Drumhelleronline.com. Please check out their newsite.)

Its hard to believe that it has already been six years since the Cuts 4 Cancer started at the Chop Shop, and after tens of thousands of dollars raised, and tons of hair removed, the time has come to do it all over again.

On February 3rd the hair dressers at the Chop Shop will once again get their scissors and shavers ready, for whoever feels like going bald for a good cause. So far a few local celebrities, including the entire Drumheller Senior Titans football team, have decided to go bald, and they have pledged to raise a minimum of $50 each.

Cathy Morse is the owner of the Chop Shop, and she explains that the money is once again going to the Palliative Care Unit at the Drumheller Health Center, and she also describes exactly what the money is used to purchase.

Make sure you find someone to pledge to, or you can just drop off your donations at the Chop Shop at any time. They will also be accepting donations a few days after February 3rd as well, in case you can't make it that day.

Also, if you feel like getting a hair cut that day but don't feel like going bald, don't fear, because you can get a normal hair cut on that day, with the proceeds still going to benefit the Palliative Care Unit.
