The Chop Shop and the Cougar Hunters Help Fight Cancer
As written by Grant Daly Saturday, 23 October 2010 - posted on Drumheller Online
There was an excellent show of support at the Chop Shop, as many locals showed up to donate money towards stopping cancer. The Chop shop is located along Highway 9 south in the Drumheller Valley. Cuts for Cancer has been running for six years strong now, and this is only the beginning.
On February 3, the shop will be shaving heads to help fight this deadly disease. It kicks off at 10:00AM.
Aaron and Garrison Krabson from the band The Cat Country Cougar Hunters were on hand to provide some amazing tunes, while Jane Buys of The Road house, Tamara Mirbach, Cathy Morse from The Chop Shop, and Angie Fairbairn of Angies Window Tinting grilled some bar-b-que. The Cougar Hunters are from the Rosebud area and to book the band simply call Aaron at (403) 934-0231.
Together they were able to raise over $1200.00 to help fight the good fight.
